Meet the Librarian

I have been a teacher since 1996.  For the first 9 years, I taught first grade in Shelbyville, TN.  In 2006 - 2007, I began teaching second grade at Harvest Elementary School.  During the second semester of that same year, I became the librarian here.

I have one son and one daughter.  My husband is a 4-H Agent in Lincoln County, TN.  I enjoy being a librarian because it’s exciting to see children discover the love of reading.
